The British Columbia Construction Association Integrating Newcomers (BCCA IN) program requires an organized individual with multi-tasking capabilities and outstanding communication skills to join our team in Nanaimo as an Employment Liaison Specialist, starting February 2019. BCCA-IN is a program that helps newcomers to Canada enter the construction workforce in British Columbia. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, BCCA-IN facilitates the economic and social integration of immigrants approved for entry into Canada.

Equity Advisor (Part-time): BC Construction Workforce Equity Project (CWEP)
We are seeking an Equity Advisor to serve on a part-time, contract basis as a confidential resource for consultation with management (including site superintendents and foremen) and human resources representatives of construction companies in BC. The Equity Advisor will be a key resource toward achieving the objective of building and maintaining equitable, safe, welcoming, and inclusive workplaces for all workers in the construction industry. The position will operate under the auspices of BC Construction Association in collaboration with the BC Construction Safety Alliance and the BCCA Employee Benefits Trust and will serve the Vancouver Island area.
